Terms & Conditions of Sale

1. Irrespective of the date of order all products supplied are chargeable at the price ruling on the day of delivery. We reserve the right to revise the price of any product on this website without notice.
2. The buyer is responsible for providing safe and suitable Bulk Storage and associated filling and ancillary equipment, which complies in all respects with all relevant requirements of, and/or regulations made by the competent authority and for ensuring that it will take the full quantity ordered. The Buyer shall also indemnify the Seller against any damages, injuries, claims, expenses, or costs of any kind whatsoever arising as a result of the Buyer not observing these conditions.
3. The Seller will not pull a connecting hose through the premises of the Buyer. The Seller must be able to access the Buyers tank without going through the Buyers premises, in order to effect the delivery.
4. It is a condition of every bulk sale through hose that the quantity shown by the Sellers tank wagon dip rod or other measuring devices employed by the Seller shall be accepted by the Buyer as the quantity delivered, but the Buyer may be represented at the taking of these measurements to verify them if he so desires; the Seller cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever or discrepancies in the Buyers tank, dip rods or other measuring devices.
5. The Seller shall not accept liability for any change of the product after delivery has been affected arising from unsuitability of the Buyers storage/handling facilities.
6. Prices are inclusive of Customs/Excise duty (if any) at the appropriate rate and any variation of duty at any time is for the Buyers account.
7. Upon delivery of the products the risk shall pass to the Buyer who shall be responsible thereafter for any loss in or damage to the products. Notwithstanding this the property in the products shall not pass to the Buyer until all outstanding sums due by the Buyer to the Seller have been paid. In the interim the Buyer shall hold the products and the proceeds of sale of the products in trust for the Seller. If the Buyer fails to make payment of sums when due, the Seller may without further notice enter upon the Buyers premises and remove forthwith the products delivered and in respect of which the Buyer has failed to make payment.
8. The Buyer hereby agrees with the Seller strictly to observe all the conditions of the Buyers Petroleum Storage Licence and not to allow any smoking or naked lights nor permit any stoves, electric or gas fires or radiators or any other naked flame to function in proximity to a tank or inlet pipe into which a delivery is being made or a vent pipe connected to such a tank and will indemnify the Seller against any damages, injuries, claims or costs arising out of the breach of this condition. 

Customs Requirements

Petrol and Autodiesel

The Customs/Excise Duty chargeable on hydrocarbon oil has been paid on the oil specified on the invoice and no rebate of such duty has been allowed thereon.

Marked Gas Oil

This oil is marked gas oil delivered on rebate of duty and must not be used for combustion in the engine of a motor vehicle or kept in the fuel tank of such vehicle. Any person so using them renders himself liable to proceedings for penalties.

Other Products

The marked products specified in this invoice have been delivered on rebate of Customs/Excise Duty and must not be used for combustion as fuel in a motor vehicle or kept in the fuel tank of such a vehicle. Any person so using them renders himself liable to proceedings for penalties.

Delivery

Delivery will normally take place within one to two working days of receiving an order but during busy times and in poor weather conditions it may take longer. Local Fuels Ltd will make every effort to make a prompt delivery but cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. If for any reason we are unable to fulfill a delivery for an order which has been placed and paid for through this website we will refund in full the value of the order placed. The refund will be processed back to the debit or credit card used to place the order.

Promotion Codes

• Only one promotion code can be used per transaction.
• A promotion code cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
• A promotion code cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Local Fuels Ltd reserves the right to cancel promotion codes without notice.

 Vouchers are not redeemable when ordering on the website.

 We are unable to make deliveries through houses.

 We reserve the right not to accept an order placed and paid for on this website.
